Arrested on September 13 in Tehran by the morality police for not wearing the veil according to the strict codes set by the Iranian regime for women, the 22-year-old died after spending three days in a hospital.

The activists claim that he had suffered a head injury during his arrest. The Iranian authorities have denied any physical contact between the police and the young woman.
