A 75-year-old man of English nationality died this Saturday, September 9, in an accident with the glider in which he was traveling. The events occurred in an area close to the landing strip, in Santa Cilia de Jaca, in the province of Huesca.
The Huesca Civil Guard received the notification at the 0-62-COS center, through 112 Aragón, around 4:00 p.m., reporting that a man was conscious, although he reported pain in his neck, as a result of an accident with a glider.
However, shortly after the arrival of a Citizen Security patrol from the Benemérita de Ansó, as well as an ambulance and firefighters, the man died. The causes of death are still to be determined, as indicated by the Armed Institute. A Judicial Police Team from the Jaca Civil Guard, transported to the scene, takes charge of the event.
