Ambilight TV, new sponsor of the Barça shirt sleeve

TP Vision and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for Ambilight TV technology to sponsor the sleeve of the shirt for the men's and women's teams until 2027 -the last two years being optional as Joan Laporta's mandate ends- at a rate of an average of 10 million euros per year. The Ambilight TV logo will be on display this Sunday in the match against Mallorca.

The agreement was sealed this morning in an act that took place at the Llotja President Suñol. On behalf of the Barcelona club, the president Joan Laporta and the vice president responsible for the marketing area, Juli Guiu, attended. On behalf of TP Vision, the CEO, Kostas Vouzas, attended.

The new member of the club that replaces the Beko appliance firm is a lighting technology developed by the Dutch brand Philips for its plasma and LED televisions. Barça will earn more and more money from its sponsorship with TP Vision. The first course will enter 8 million; the second, 10; the third and fourth, 12; and the fifth, 14. The last two campaigns will be optional so that the next board of directors can decide if they want to continue having said sponsorship. TP Vision also reserves the right to follow up.

As the main partner of the club, TP Vision will also play an important role as a provider of TV and screens for the audiovisual infrastructure of the new Spotify Camp Nou. The agreement also grants TP Vision association rights with the first men's and women's soccer teams, as well as the club's other professional sports teams.

Ambilight TV will also be prominently displayed inside the Camp Nou and key players from the men's and women's first team football teams will be invited to learn first-hand about the range of products to become brand ambassadors.

Philips Ambilight TVs feature rows of colored LEDs embedded in strips along the rear edges of the TV that cast an ever-changing halo of light - precisely matching the image on the screen - onto the wall behind. Ambilight gives the impression that the TV picture is bigger and better, beyond the physical limits of the set, which appears to float rather than be attached to the wall.
