Alternatives: extraordinary luxuries in the snow

Serras Andorra Luxury Boutique Resort

Gastronomy, sport and, of course, hospitality are the pillars of this space that counts, attention! with two private ski slopes, four spaces dedicated to culinary hedonism (Marc Gascons, from Els Tinars, runs the restaurant here and Bruna's Fromagerie, the Snow Terrace and the 42 Grados Cocktail Bar) and the first vegan spa in Andorra run by the doctor Ribe.

This is how the new bet of the management company Serras Collection (after consolidating the one in Barcelona as the best urban hotel in Spain 2022 at the Beyond Luxury Awards) rounds off a multisensory experience that allows you to invest in time and health and discover Andorra and even yourself with other eyes "We aspire to become a must-see destination in the health and wellness tourism sector," explains its general manager, Antonio Bignone.

The rooms at Serras Andorra represent the most intimate part of the hotel, where every detail has been taken care of for the most demanding travelers. Comfort, space and style are the three great characteristics of the resort's 57 rooms and suites. Spacious and bright, each room is designed with the well-being of the guests in mind. Most of them have views of the snow-capped mountains of Granvalira or the Incles Valley.

As for the spa, it has a water area made up of a high-temperature sauna, an infrared cabin to increase blood circulation, a relaxing area with a steam bath, a small pool with water treated at low temperatures, a bithermal sequential shower and the rainmaker shower, which simulates rainwater and removes impurities. Despite its spaciousness, this space has a maximum capacity of 18 people to ensure the privacy and comfort of guests.

The hotel offers the accompaniment of the so-called "wellness ambassadors" to advise guests on different innovative therapies. Facial treatments (skin cleansing, skin regeneration and Japanese lifting effect massage), body massages (relaxing, therapeutic and injury prevention) and wellness rituals, a combination of exclusive skin care treatments are performed.

Oriented towards couples, Serras Andorra offers an intimate spa experience in the so-called premium beauty room, exclusively for two people, with time to relax in the water circuit. Wellness packages are also offered for sports lovers (cellular regeneration, pain relief, stretching and pressure points) and for guests looking for multi-sensory experiences to free themselves from daily stress and improve physical and emotional fitness.

For Harbour, Richard Deacon's first exhibition, which can be seen until January 14 at Shanghai's Lisson Gallery, the influential British artist presents a series of new works, demonstrating his mastery of sculpture and his desire to expand the possibilities of the chosen materials. The exhibition follows Deacon's previous showings in China at TAG Art (2021) and Wuzhen International Contemporary Art Exhibition (2016), among others.

Gucci's new ski mask arrives with an ivory frame, its signature web strap (this time in orange and white) and a brown lens that turns to pink, complete with an energetic presence of the logo. It costs 710 euros and although it is not a limited edition, it is not easy to get this Gucci mask that is part of the collection that the desire firm has launched for the new ski season.

Jeremy Scott offered one of his characteristic Spring-Summer 2023 shows for Moschino, full of surprises and even inflatables enveloping the models. “With the news cycle as strong and dramatic as the one we are all experiencing, and everyone talking about inflation, I thought: 'how do I bring inflation to the catwalk?'”, said the designer before showing his 60 star looks in those who did not miss the color or the glitter mixed with those inflatables with a hidden message. They highlighted his golden shoes, which are precisely one of the advances in his spring proposal that he has already launched on the market for these holidays.

Yellow gold, diamonds, mother-of-pearl and onyx make up the necklace with which the creative director of Dior's high jewelery, Victoire de Castellane, continues the story of the Rose des Vents collection. In this new celestial charm, a grained braid wraps around the medallion, which is rotated on the chain to show either the sun or moon side. One more proof of the talent of this revolutionary jeweler who plays to provoke and deconstruct the classic patterns.
