“The only thing I can say is I apologize to my team, I'm sorry for them, it's an unacceptable mistake in this category. It was completely my fault. If I want to win the championship I can't make these mistakes, I lose 9 points (to Fabio), so I'm very sorry", commented Aleix Espargaró, dejected.
On the circumstance of the mistake, Aleix explained that his confusion was due to a failure of observation on his part. “It was 100% my fault. The blackboard was very close to the curve and I didn't have time to see all the information. I saw "0.6 Martín", he was pushing hard to keep second place and since I couldn't see the remaining laps.
