The game of the 57th round of the NBA between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Milwaukee Bucks was not as balanced as expected, and the Grizzlies humiliated the Bucks with a resounding 142-101. Those led by Taylor Jenkins, led by a spectacular Ja Morant, added their seventh consecutive victory.

Both teams came from winning 8 of their previous 10 meetings, and entered the game as second ranked in their respective conferences. However, the Bucks, one of the best defensive teams in the league, were not up to the task, and were the perfect victim of a Grizzlies who went on to win by 50 points in the fourth quarter.

The standout player of the night was Ja Morant, who with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in just 26 minutes became the first player in Grizzlies history to make a triple-double in just three quarters.

The Spanish Santi Aldama also had an outstanding performance with 14 points, 3 rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes coming off the bench. In the third quarter, the canary hit a spectacular three-pointer, dazzled with an impressive one-handed dunk and went 4 of 4 in shots (2 of 2 in triples). For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo had 19 points on 5-for-13 shooting, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Jrue Holiday and Spaniard Serge Ibaka were out, both due to illness.

The locals had eight players above 10 points and scored 54.9% of their shots compared to 37.2% for their rivals. After the first quarter they were already leading 33-18, and at halftime they clearly dominated with a score of 70-41. The Bucks, for their part, could not do anything to stop the rival offensive, and reached the last quarter with an unattainable score of 117-71.

On the next day, the Memphis Grizzlies will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are ranked 13th in the standings and have just lost 108-110 to the Miami Heat. The Milwaukee Bucks, for their part, will receive the Utah Jazz at the Fiserv Forum, 8th in the standings, who achieved an important victory against the New Orleans Pelicans by 132-129.
