Air resources join the fight against the fire and two towns are no longer confined

Of the three municipalities that remained confined - Ador, Potries and Font d'En Carrós -, the confinement of the last two towns has been lifted, although great caution is requested when traveling through these areas.

The councilor explained that the weather conditions tonight have been more favorable than the forecasts indicated, since the relative humidity has not been so low and the winds have reached lower intensity values.

During this Saturday, the third day of a fire that started on Thursday, reconnaissance flights with thermal cameras have been scheduled to check the heat intensity of the fires and the hot spots, since in fires with a lot of wind, areas are left unburned.

Likewise, it is expected that during the day a land entrance will be opened with heavy machinery to continue maintaining the fire and that it does not cross the Serpis River area and jump to the province of Alicante, as explained by sources from the Valencia Provincial Firefighters Consortium.

The evacuation of about 850 people in Castellonet, Terrateig, Ermita de Ador, Monte Corona (Ador) and Llacuna de Villalonga is currently maintained.
