Aid of 200 euros to vulnerable families: last day for application

The 200 euro check for vulnerable families announced in June by the Government meets a key date this Friday, September 30. It will be the last day on which aid can be requested, which aims to alleviate the impact of the war in Ukraine on Spanish households, with an allocation of 540 million euros and some 2.7 million potential beneficiaries.

Those furthest behind can still complete the procedure on the Tax Agency portal. This Friday the application window closes.

To carry out the procedure, you must access the procedure "Aid of 200 euros for individuals with a low level of income and assets" from the Tax Agency website. From the outset, it is already noted that you are not entitled to aid if you receive a minimum vital income on June 27, 2022, if you receive a pension or if you have income greater than 14,000 euros. These are the great limits that must be respected in order to apply for help.

In addition, they must have established residence in Spain for at least one year as of June 27, 2022 and be registered with Social Security as an employee or self-employed or be registered in the Employment offices if they are unemployed. The assets, not counting the habitual residence, cannot exceed 43,196.40 euros. The cohabitants of the home will be included in the calculation if there is a family relationship.

If an application has already been submitted, you can check the status from the same portal. You can also modify one already submitted, complete it or cancel it.

If help is needed throughout the process, the Tax Agency has support channels for the process. You can call 91 889 81 46 or 901 200 346 for assistance in completing the application (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) or 91 554 87 70 or 901 33 55 33 for tax questions. You can also consult the most repeated questions and their answers on the web.
