Accelerate the new sustainable mobility

Today we are all aware that our means of transport are not sustainable and that we must transition to a new mobility model that generates less CO2. Despite this, this future accepted by all has not yet arrived.

In the sale of cars, it is appreciated that the change is not being as fast as it should. The percentage of plug-in cars that are being sold in Spain today does not reach 3%. In other countries, this percentage is already 10 and up to 15%. The Spanish market is at the tail end of electro-mobility and we want to break down the barriers that are stopping the population from deciding on electric mobility. In this necessary transformation, various factors intersect that are conditioning its speed of implementation. The policies of governments and municipalities, the development of infrastructures, or the offer of reliable and affordable cars for drivers.

The paradigm of a car for each person must be rethought, today we are already seeing how new forms of displacement appear in cities. This forces us to review the root infrastructures, understanding that the new mobility does not end in replacing combustion cars with electric cars, but rather has many more consequences.

To delve into the broad implications of the new mobility model, a number of experts have been invited to ensure an enriching debate.

Manel Ferri, Sustainable Mobility Foundation

Technician in mobility and climate change, he will put the need for a transformation in context. It will expose the vision of technicians and legislators, on the paradigm shift to move, where new transport will appear such as: non-polluting delivery fleets, car sharing, electric cars and bikes, etc.

Joaquim Ramis, Automotive Innovation Lab.

He will share the latest studies and knowledge on how the automotive industry is approaching the most important revolution in its history, and how people are relating to this new reality.

Eduard Castañeda, Chief Innovation Officer and co-founder of Wallbox

As a leader in the manufacture of advanced charging systems for electric vehicles, it will give a vision of the evolution of energy management infrastructures, a key element for the new model of sustainable mobility.

Xavier Oms, Mobility Director

As a benchmark in vehicle financing for companies and individuals, it will share the keys to bringing sustainable mobility solutions closer to people and acquiring non-polluting means of travel as soon as possible.
