A young man moves thousands of people by celebrating the World Cup with his father's ashes

The streets of the main Argentine cities are still flooded with people who celebrate the long-awaited world cup achieved by Lionel Scaloni's team. The World Cup final in Qatar has been the culmination of the colossal career of Leo Messi, who has won the only title he had left to win.

Madness in the streets. The footballers are already on Argentine soil to celebrate with their people, although the fans have already been marching for hours. Thanks to social networks we have been able to see spectacular images of the crowd of people that fill the streets, the craziest festivities and also exciting stories, such as that of Mauricio, the protagonist of this story.

Shared joy. The TikTok user @j51n69 has been posting images and anecdotes from Comodoro Rivadavia, the most populous city in Chubut (Argentina), on his account. There, a young man who was carrying a kind of chest with the image of a man in full celebration caught his attention.

The tiktoker did not hesitate to approach him to ask him about it, and that is how Mauricio told him that it was his father, who had died 5 months ago. "I brought it to celebrate, my old man's name is Juan," he explains. With him he always celebrated victories and this time it could not be less.

In numbers. "I upload it because it broke my soul. Argentina is like that," publishes the author of the video, which has 574,000 views at the time of writing these lines, in addition to nearly 50,000 "likes" and almost 500 comments.

Top comments. Users have empathized a lot with the young man, especially those who have also lost someone recently or those who have had similar experiences: "My friend, this touched my heart. Today I was thinking how happy my father would be," says a fan.

"My old man left suddenly two months ago. It was all so bittersweet today...", shares another. "My husband died 10 months ago... he was 28 years old and dreamed of seeing Argentina world champion. With my baby we hugged and cried hard dedicating him," explains a third.
