The Civil Guard has arrested a young man who stole an electric scooter last night at knifepoint and stabbed its owner on a street in the town of Pinto, the Madrid Command reported today.
The events took place at 9 p.m. this Sunday. After the violent robbery, the victim shouted out what had happened, so some passersby and also Civil Guard agents arrived at the scene, who treated the injured man.
This is a 28-year-old young man who had three head injuries, a shoulder dislocation and injuries to his left hand. Therefore, he was transferred to a nearby hospital by a basic ambulance. His condition is not serious, a spokesperson for the Community of Madrid Emergencies 112 told EP.
The perpetrator fled the scene quickly and on the way tried unsuccessfully to steal a vehicle, causing minor injuries to its driver. Finally, thanks to citizen collaboration, which detained the thief and aggressor, the agents arrested the person involved, who turned out to be a 22-year-old young man, who will soon be brought to justice.
