A very consistent Barça beats Bayern in Munich

Barça made its debut on Tuesday at home in this Euroleague and did so with an exercise in consistency and regularity that should give it a bit more peace of mind than has been shown so far at the start of the season. Those of Jasikevicius prevailed in Munich, where he does not win just anyone, against a Bayern that already proved last season to be a bone for those hard to crack. After scoring 52 points on their last visit to the Audi Dome, Barça were not surprised this time and proved to be a compact team, which knew how to keep their always uncomfortable rival at bay for most of the game. The 13 of 26 in triples undoubtedly helped that containment work.

After a first quarter score, the azulgrana team took its first advantages already in the second act thanks to the four triples without failure of a very fine-tuned Abrines, which stretched to 22-29 (m15). Bayern began to see themselves outmatched and desperately clung to Rubit, who finished the night with 19 points.

The game was definitely broken in the third act, just after leaving the locker room. The enormous figure of Vesely silenced the German coliseum little by little, the Czech seconded by two triples from Laprovittola that sealed a 2-11 that already broke the ten-point barrier (36-48). Another triple, this time from Tobey, stretched to 45-61 (m28), the maximum of the entire game. Bayern's latest outbursts were cut short by Jokubaitis with his trademark mid-range shots. Without going home, Barça traveled to Kaunas to face Zalgiris tomorrow. This doesn't stop.
