To be part of Intermedia Locals, the premises must be located on a ground floor and have been without economic activity for more than twelve months.
Once the premises have been valued, which must have a rent of at least 15% below the appraisal price, and its characteristics and potential in accordance with current regulations, Barcelona Activa will look for projects that want to be installed there such as shops, offices or workshops. The economic viability and suitability in relation to the environment and the regulatory framework of the territory will be assessed and it will be taken into account if the project falls within strategic areas for the neighborhood or the city.
Once the contract is closed, for a minimum of five years, Barcelona Activa will grant 3,000 euros to the property, which may be used only for adaptations and improvements to the premises, registration of supplies or contracting rental income insurance.
