A pregnant woman was injured this Sunday when a sign fell on her, due to the storm that this day affects the whole of the Balearic Islands.

To deal with the first incidents caused by the storm, the Maintenance brigade has mobilized gardeners and subcontractor personnel to create teams and remove branches and debris from public roads. Local Police and Fire are also acting.

On the other hand, the City Council has reported the hoisting of the red flag on all the beaches of the municipality; the closure of access to Punta Ballena (MA12) due to the accumulation of water and the blocking of Quevedo and Miguel de los Santos Oliver streets due to falling branches. The emergencies that have occurred are being attended by priority.
Finally, the City Council has communicated that Paguera Boulevard has been cut for 30 minutes due to falling branches. Although, traffic has already been restored.
