A woman has "miraculously" escaped unharmed after a pallet of construction material fell on her vehicle that fell from a crane truck in the capital Granada, according to the 112 Andalusia Emergency Service.
The event occurred at 5:25 p.m. on Arabial street when the load of a crane truck carrying a pallet of sacks fell on a car that was driving on the road at that time. This has been reported by the numerous witnesses who witnessed the incident and called the 112 emergency telephone number to give the alert.
Inside the vehicle, which has been destroyed, only the driver was traveling, who according to the Police has saved her life "miraculously".
Granada Firefighters, Local Police and health personnel traveled to the place, who even moved a mobile ICU. Inside the vehicle was the driver and only occupant who has been treated by the toilets and evacuated to a hospital for her medical evaluation, although according to the first evaluations of the operatives she has been unharmed.
The area has been cordoned off and the construction workers are removing the crane, according to the Local Police, who have proceeded to carry out proceedings.
