A new DANA arrives: these are the communities where it will rain this Tuesday

Follow the unstable weather in Spain. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees for this Tuesday the entry of a slight Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA), which will leave locally strong precipitation in the northeastern half of the peninsula and a drop in temperatures in most of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands .

The agency has placed an orange warning (risk) for rains and storms in Catalonia, and in yellow for Aragon, Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, the Community of Madrid, Navarra, La Rioja, the Valencian Community and Basque Country. Andalusia will be on yellow notice due to coastal phenomena.

According to the Aemet forecast, scattered showers and storms are expected in the northern half of the peninsula from the early hours, more intense and frequent in Galicia and in the Cantabrian area, where it could become strong.

Throughout the day, the rainfall and storms will intensify and generalize, at the same time that they will spread to the rest of the areas of the eastern third of the peninsula, with a probability of becoming strong in the center, and especially in the east and northeast of the peninsula and around the Central and Iberian systems, reaching the Balearic Islands at the end of the day.

On the other hand, in Andalusia and the rest of the areas of the peninsular southwest quadrant they will get rid of the rains, except for some isolated showers in mountainous areas.

In the Canary Islands, the Aemet expects cloudy intervals with the probability of some weak and scattered rain or some afternoon showers on the mountainous islands.

Regarding temperatures, the maximum will decrease in most of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. This drop will be more pronounced in the center of the peninsula. The exception will be found on the coasts of the southeast of the peninsula and around the Gulf of Cádiz where they will tend to increase. The minimum, without great variations.

The rains will last very little. According to Aemet, only locally strong showers accompanied by storms are expected for Wednesday in the Balearic Islands, less likely in Catalonia. Tomorrow an increase in temperatures is expected, more pronounced in the interior of the Atlantic slope, and except in the Balearic Islands where they will drop.

The heat will begin to tighten on Thursday, with generalized increasing maximums except in the Mediterranean coastal areas, where they will tend to drop. The minimums, in descent in the interior of the peninsular northeast quadrant and in general in ascent in the rest. In some points of the peninsular southwest, it can reach 35 degrees.
