A multiple accident on the AP-7 motorway between Castellbisbal and Gelida, in the province of Barcelona, ​​has complicated the usual weekend operation, for now there are around 18 kilometers of delays, according to the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT) ).

Up to six vehicles were involved in the accident, according to police sources, and it has made it necessary to cut a lane of the motorway in this section in the direction of Tarragona, a fact that added to the operation to leave for the holiday through San José complicates circulation. A weekend in which up to five million trips are expected on the entire state road network, according to the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT).

The Emergency Service of Catalonia (SEM) has announced that no one was injured in the collision between the cars.

Two more accidents have been reported on the same road, one in Mont-roig del Camp (Tarragona) that causes about four kilometers of queue in the Amposta direction and another in Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona) that generates five more in the same direction of travel
