A driver has been seriously injured when the car overturned on the C-17 in Tagamanent (Vallès Oriental) in the Vic direction. According to the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT), the accident occurred around 4:00 p.m. this Sunday, July 23 at kilometer 39.
Members of the Mossos d'Esquadra, the Generalitat Fire Department and an ambulance and the medicalized helicopter of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) have traveled to the place.
Due to the accident, the C-17 was cut for twenty minutes in a northerly direction, which caused three kilometers of queue. In the first half of 2023, 71 people have died on the interurban road network in Catalonia, 13.4% less than on the same dates in 2022.
