A man is killed and two others are injured in a stabbing brawl in Alicante

A 52-year-old man has died and two others have been injured in a brawl around the football stadium in the city of Alicante, police sources have confirmed to Europa Press.

The events occurred this past Friday around 5:30 p.m. when, apparently, a brawl began for reasons that are unknown up to now and in which three people have been injured by knives and the use of blunt objects.

Police indicatives belonging to the Citizen Security Brigade have moved to the place, and upon their arrival they have verified how the three injured men were bleeding profusely, including one of them on the ground unconscious with apparent injuries in different parts of the body.

The most striking were located in the head, so the agents have notified the health services that, when they arrived at the scene, they tried to save his life, without success, the same sources have detailed.

The other two attacked, of Spanish and Colombian nationality, respectively, have been transferred to the General Hospital of Alicante, also with bleeding wounds on their faces and extremities. After being treated, both have been discharged from hospital.

At the scene of the events, the police officers have proceeded to arrest three men between the ages of 25 and 35 as alleged perpetrators of the events, accused of the crimes of homicide and injuries. Both remain in police stations until they are brought before the courts.

Officials from the Judicial Police and Scientific Police from the Alicante Provincial Police Station have also traveled to the scene of the events, who, together with the Judicial Commission, have been in charge of removing the body.

The National Police, which continues to investigate the facts to fully clarify them, points out that up to now the reason for the brawl is unknown.
