The events occurred this past Wednesday around 11:00 a.m. when the receptionist of a hotel in the capital called the Local Police to warn that a client was asking for help because “she had been raped and had been detained,” according to what the newspaper Sur reported this Thursday. .

A patrol found the woman, of Spanish nationality, when she was going to the police station and she told the agents that she was in a reception center in Barcelona when this past Monday she received a call from the now arrested person.

The man, who is also Spanish and who has a restraining order against the woman, apparently told her that he was in the capital of the Costa del Sol and that if she did not meet with him, he would call the police “and would tell him that she had approached him and had broken the restraining order against him,” according to the newspaper.

The woman, scared, agreed and left the shelter where she was without saying anything, so the disappearance was reported and an investigation began.

According to the woman, after arriving in Malaga, the man took her to the hotel and “did not let her leave” and, allegedly, sexually assaulted her and this past Wednesday she escaped.
