The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested the driver of an SUV involved in a fatal accident in Sitges after testing positive for cocaine. The 49-year-old individual is accused of involuntary manslaughter and against traffic safety for driving under the influence of drugs.
The events took place at 8:30 p.m. at kilometer 177.5 of the C-31, in the municipality of Sitges. The detainee's jeep and a motorcycle collided and, as a result of the injuries sustained, the driver of the motorcycle, a 39-year-old resident of Viladecans, lost his life.
