A small fire broke out in a garbage truck this morning on Carrer del Maduixer in Barcelona, in the neighborhood of Sant Genís dels Agudells, very close to Collserola. The column of smoke has been visible in a good part of the city, although from the City Council they explain to La Vanguardia that two crews have moved to the place to control the flames quickly.
No one has been injured in this incident, neither the truck driver nor the local residents. At the moment, the causes that would have caused the fire are unknown.
As can be seen in a video circulating on social networks, due to the location of Maduixer street it seemed that the column of smoke came from the wooded area of Collserola and suggested a forest fire in a sensitive area. Fortunately, this has not been the case and the council defines the fire as a "minor" incident.
