A 72-year-old woman died this Thursday afternoon while bathing in a community pool in the Riumar urbanization, in the municipality of Deltebre, in Baix Ebre (Tarrgona). The victim, a Belgian national, was staying with her husband in a complex of semi-detached houses on Corb Marí street in this coastal area of the Ebro delta.
The man went for a walk and the woman decided to bathe in the pool. Around seven thirty in the afternoon, a maintenance worker found her lifeless body in the water. EMS personnel went to the scene but could do nothing to revive the woman. The Mossos also moved two crews.
