A 44-year-old Spanish hiker died this Sunday while practicing sports in the Trentino area, in Alto Adige, in Italy.
The man was accompanied by another person, who witnessed how he slipped and fell 40 meters down a gutter on the trail. After the accident, his companion notified the Italian alpine emergency services, which sent a helicopter to help him.
The deceased and his hiking companion were on a hiking trail in Val Canali. At one point during the journey he slipped and his companion saw how he fell. The 44-year-old man hit the ground, as reported by Rainews.
