5. Criminal Senate had rejected the appeal by the defendants, informed the Federal court of justice (BGH) on Friday. The judgment is therefore final.
The Lübeck regional court had sentenced the then-43-year-old accused in June of 2020, to imprisonment for a period of twelve years.
