The Mossos d'esquadra have opened criminal proceedings for the damage and the destruction caused during the demonstration, anti-racist than there was yesterday in Salt and Girona . According to the reports of the Mossos, the demonstration began at six in the afternoon in the plaza Llibertat of Salt. The start was peaceful protest, to denounce institutional racism and the police brutality following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in the united States.
During the march, yet some protesters caused several damages in the vehicles, a supermarket, in the courts and in a bank. They also overturned and burned some container.
The demonstration began at six in the evening in the Liberty square of Salt and toured different streets of the town. The protesters stopped at city hall, where they read a manifesto. The march also came to the police station shared the Mossos and Local Police to the population.
