Cuideo captures 5 million euros to grow in Spain

Cuideo, an intermediary agency between families and home helpers, has raised 5 million euros in a round led by the Capital Cell platform and the Antena3 investment fund, among other investors who had participated in previous rounds.

The CEO, Roberto Valdés, explains to this newspaper that the company will invest the money in its geographical expansion in Spain. “We operate throughout the country but we have realized that to improve the efficiency of our service we need to be close to customers. Therefore, we are going to allocate the resources to open physical delegations in the eight main cities of the country”.

Valdés, who founded the business in 2016 together with his brother Alejandro Valdés and Adrià Buzón, adds that part of the resources will also be used for marketing and technology.

The manager assures that this year the company expects to double its income. If in 2021 it invoiced 3.2 million euros, this year it plans to reach 6.5 million. At the Barcelona headquarters, the company employs a total of 90 people.
