The opposition notes the loss of confidence in the Government of Aragon in a joint motion

The Parliament of Catalonia has verified this afternoon the loneliness of the Government of Pere Aragonès, which is supported by the 33 ERC deputies while the other parliamentary groups have made evident the loss of confidence that allowed his investiture, backed by Junts and the CUP, voting on a motion with a single point that expressed this situation.

The Junts spokesman, Josep Rius, has defended the motion presented by his group, whose sole objective is to "verify the loss of confidence" of the parliamentary majority that allowed the investiture of Aragonès. "It is a Government that only has 24% of the support of the Chamber, the weakest in the recent history of the Generalitat de Catalunya", pointed out the post-convergent deputy, who has accused the ERC of not complying with the agreements and not being trustworthy, so "it has been left alone" in the Government with its 33 deputies.

The Republicans have defended themselves by introducing three amendments that sought to verify that the changes in the Government, which have left it in a precarious minority, respond to Junts' decision to abandon it. "Neither have they been thrown out nor have they been expelled. They have invented an internal consultation to justify their departure," said their spokesperson, Marta Vilalta, who has accused the postconvergents of "leaving the country out in the open" and has asked what they propose. "We will not pay irresponsible proposals", she has concluded, before the possibility of new elections or a motion of censure. ERC has finally abstained in the vote.

The Socialists have voted in favor of the Junts motion and have urged the ERC to seek allies, especially with a view to approving the budgets. The spokeswoman for the PSC, Alícia Romero, has pointed out that the Govern de Aragonès has to decide "what it wants to do", since it is not approving, as she recalled, some of the laws that it has presented and has withdrawn various initiatives "because it knows He won't approve of them."

The commons have also wondered what the republicans are proposing for the future of Catalonia and to solve the problems of the people, but they have also addressed the Junts deputies to express these same questions. "While it is confirmed that ERC and Junts do not understand each other," said the spokesman for Catalonia in Comú Podem, David Cid. "Given their findings and their fights, our hopes and our realities," concluded Cid, who has also called for new budgets.

The spokeswoman for the CUP, Dolors Sabater, lamented that the resolution of the conflict between Catalonia and the State, which in her opinion passed through the path of self-determination and amnesty, has been abandoned, from her point of view, by ERC and he has assured that his support for the motion responds to reasons different from those of Junts, whom he has accused of "bowing to the oligarchic interests of Madrid" in projects such as the expansion of the airport or the fourth ring road.

On behalf of Citizens, the deputy Anna Grau has intervened, who has indicated that the motion "is ridiculous" and therefore has announced that her group would abstain. "A lot of nonsense has been said", exclaimed Grau, who has not only asked himself what the ERC wants to do, "what he wants is to continue governing in the minority and with variable geometry", he has answered, but also what Junts and the PSC want , who could present a motion of censure for which he has advanced the support of his group.

Lorena Roldán, for the PP, has also announced the abstention of her group and has assured that "they have never" had confidence in the Government, neither when it was formed by the coalition of ERC and Junts, nor now, and has accused it of " continue dividing Catalan society and living off the procés while suffocating the Catalans with taxes".
