Jermaine Pennant, an English footballer who played for Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Zaragoza (2009-2010) among many other teams, is being investigated by the police after a YouTuber accidentally discovered a marijuana production plantation at an industrial level in a mansion he owns.
According to The Sun newspaper, Pennant has been surprised by what happened since he no longer occupies the house. The footballer bought the house valued at more than three million euros in 2006 when he played for Liverpool.
The mansion has all kinds of luxuries like a pond, tennis court, Jacuzzi and indoor pool, and has been uninhabited since Pennant split from his partner Alice Goodwin in 2020. The date is from 1930.
For its part, the Daily Mail newspaper has published that behind what happened would be a gang of drug traffickers, who occupied the Pennant mansion as a production center for their illegal activities.
It was the youtuber Lukka Ventures who discovered what was happening inside the house when he sneaked in to record. The Pennant house in question is located in the exclusive area of Hale Road.
