Submersible well/bore/de-watering pump, designed to overcome problems of corrosion, seizing, wear and blocking up due to high iron content or solids in the liquid.
The Feri pump is a true DIY product in a world of pumps that require specialist installers, heavy or specialized equipment and often very limited service life.
Traditional submersible pumps suffer from wear, seizing, burning out, erosion, corrosion and often difficulty in installation and maintenance. The Feri was specifically developed to overcome these problems and offer a long service life, which is important especially in remote locations.
The Feri is light, requires no electric components down the hole and can usually be installed by one person in a short time.
It uses low pressure compressed air – usually a regular compressor from the local hardware store is sufficient. The compressor can be located a long way from the water source, making the requirement for power at the pumping site un-necessary.
It is constructed entirely of tough plastics, therefore no corrosion, even in water containing high concentrations of salt.
There are no tight tolerances or wearing components, so reasonable amounts solids in the liquid are not an issue.
Uses for the pump range from wells/bores to de-watering, leachate pumping and water transfer. It can even be used for water aeration in fish farms. The possible applications are wide and varied and reliability is exceptional.
