Sebring, FL: Located just 80 miles south of Orlando, commercial projects are flourishing, and Greg Karlson, broker at ERA Advantage Realty, has been an active participant in the process.
Greg Karlson attributes a large part of his successful business to meticulous planning and guiding his clients throughout the process. "It's a good time now during these low cycles to have the engineering done, the building completed, and to prepare when the market returns", he said in a recent interview. "We're usually six months' behind the coastal activity", he explained. "After the cyclical real estate markets on the east and west coast of Florida picks up, it will most likely pick up here also", he added.

But there are changes underway with a flurry of new businesses coming to the area, such as Olive Garden, Circuit City, Ross Stores in addition to the new Lowe's recently opened. In addition, Walmart plans on opening a full service SuperStore in Avon Park later this year. New retail and professional offices are being built behind Lakeshore Mall as well as other locations throughout the county.
As a commercial property specialist for the past 12 years and a lifelong resident of the county, Greg Karlson has a wealth of information gathered from his years of experience.
