Richardson Electronics Forms Partnership with NEC Technologies

Richardson to Provide LCD Chassis Monitor Solutions

LAFOX, Ill., Oct. 6 -- NEC Technologies named specialty distributor Richardson Electronics, Inc. as the authorized worldwide distributor of NEC's line of LCD flat-panel chassis monitor products. The partnership will merge Richardson's technical expertise and knowledge of flat- panel integration applications with NEC's technological leadership in providing core solutions for LCD flat panel integrators.

NEC Technologies chose Richardson Electronics because of its knowledge of the worldwide display products market and strong reputation in the distribution industry. The two companies also have had tremendous success during their two-year relationship in the specialty distribution agreement for NEC's high-resolution, flat-panel MultiSync LCD monitors and CRT display products.
