Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation Announces Proposed Agreement with Lyons Magnus Bottling

Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation (OTC:AVBC - news), announced today that Aqua Vie Beverage Corporation and Lyons Magnus have reached an agreement in principle, whereby Lyons will produce Aqua Vie's Hydrator(TM) product line for Aqua Vie's west coast distribution, starting in January 1998.

Lyons Magnus is one of California's largest manufacturers of beverages and fruit products, and operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility where it currently bottles for beverage companies and distributors in the U.S. and Asia.

Under the proposed terms of the agreement, Lyons Magnus will begin production of Aqua Vie's Hydrator(TM) product line on January 26th. Lyons has experience producing Aqua Vie products and was the bottling facility that originally successfully tested the production of Aqua Vie's new ``all natural'' products, through their proprietary aseptic bottling process.

The agreement is subject to completion of due diligence, and definitive documentation, which is expected to be completed within approximately two weeks.

Tom Gillespie, founder of Aqua Vie said that this alliance takes place during a time when the bottled water business is today, the fastest growing segment in the $6 billion alternative beverage industry. However, Aqua Vie's entire portfolio of natural waters, non-carbonated hydrational beverages, functional beverages, and non-alcoholic wine beverages bridges the full spectrum of the over $100 billion world wide beverage marketplace.

``This agreement represents a milestone for those who helped build Aqua Vie, those who helped rescue it, and all who can now look forward to enjoying these unique beverages,'' said Gillespie. ``It also marks the beginning of Aqua Vie's west coast operations, and for the company, puts some closure on the past. The Lyons Magnus facility maintains industry-leading production standards, and is well acquainted with our products. It is the ideal manufacturing facility to facilitate the introduction of Aqua Vie's 'all natural' products to the West Coast.''

Robert Smittcamp, CEO of Lyons Magnus said, ``We've watched the struggle to bring Aqua Vie to the marketplace over the past three years, and look forward to completing this project, that we originally started with Tom.''
